This Privacy Policy explains how Joppy, an AI fitness trainer available at joppy.app and as iOS and Android apps, handles your personal data.

Account data: your email address. Profile data you provide: age, height, weight, goal, level, and available equipment. Activity data: workouts, sets, nutrition entries, and activities. Food photos you submit for AI calorie estimation.
If you choose to connect Apple Health or Google Health, we receive the data you allow, such as steps, calories, workouts, and heart rate. We also process basic device and app information.
We use your data to provide and personalize the service, generate AI workout programs and nutrition estimates, process payments, and keep the service secure.
We do not sell your personal data.
Under the GDPR, we rely on performance of a contract to provide the service, your consent for processing health data, and our legitimate interests for security and service improvement.
You can withdraw consent for health data at any time by disconnecting the integration.
To generate plans and estimates, workout and nutrition context and food-photo data are sent to Anthropic (Claude), our AI provider.
This data is processed to produce your results and is not used to build your advertising profile.
We use Supabase for database, authentication, and storage, hosted in the EU; Anthropic for AI processing, in the US; Selectel for media/object storage and email, in Russia; and YooKassa for payment processing.
We do not store your card data; card details are handled by the payment provider and the app stores.
Your data may be processed in the EU, the US, and Russia. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses to protect your data during transfers.
We use only essential first-party local storage, such as your sign-in session, language, and UI preferences.
We do not use advertising or analytics trackers.
We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account or request deletion, we delete your personal data, subject to any legal retention obligations.
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port your data, to object to certain processing, to withdraw consent, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Joppy is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us.
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your information.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified in the app or by email, and the date above shows the latest revision.
